Chips Without Borders: India’s Semiconductor Giants Look Outward

Indian chipmakers—including Tata Electronics, Kaynes Semicon, and CG Semi—are increasingly targeting overseas customers due to limited local semiconductor demand. While billions are being poured into building a robust domestic manufacturing ecosystem and launching pilot production lines under India's semiconductor initiatives, the current scarcity of large-scale domestic buyers is pushing these firms to seek international clients to absorb their growing production capacity.
