Dollar Deluge: RBI’s Deposit Scheme Set to Unleash $85 Billion Inflow

An SBI Research report projects India could attract $80–$85 billion in foreign currency inflows following the RBI's new FCNR(B) deposit measures. Driven largely by public sector banks, mobilization in just 45 days has already outpaced 2013's three-month totals, boosted by attractive interest rates and upcoming deposit renewals.
