Rise of the Bots: AI Rules Global Web Traffic, But Humans Still Reign in India

Globally, autonomous AI agents and bots now generate over 57% of all internet traffic, outnumbering human-initiated activity for the first time in history.However, India remains a major exception to this trend. Driven by a massive mobile-first ecosystem, humans still dominate Indian web traffic—accounting for an overwhelming 84.4% of all online activity, while bots make up just 15.6%.
