87% of Indian Adults Now Prefer YouTube Over TV, Watch 72+ Minutes Daily

A recent MTM survey shared at YouTube Brandcast 2025 found that 87% of Indian viewers aged 18+ use YouTube every day—far ahead of traditional TV and video-on-demand services. On average, they spend more than 72 minutes daily on the platform. YouTube’s reach includes over 650 million monthly logged-in Shorts users globally and more than 75 million connected TV viewers (18+) in India.
