Competition Commission Of India Fines Google $161.95M For Anti-Competitive Practices

<p>The Competition Commission fined Google Rs 1,337.76 crore for abusing its dominant position in numerous areas within the Android mobile device ecosystem. Furthermore, the fair trade authority has ordered the internet giant to stop engaging in unfair commercial activities. The Competition Commission of India (CCI) stated in a statement that it has also instructed Google to adjust its behavior within a certain time frame.</p>
