NASA briefly ordered five International Space Station astronauts to shelter inside a docked SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule and don spacesuits after a persistent air leak in Russia's Zvezda module escalated from one to two pounds of air loss per day. The emergency "safe haven" protocol was enacted as a precaution during a complex repair attempt. The evacuation alert was lifted hours later when Russian space agency Roscosmos paused the structural repairs to gather more data.
