Apple has asked a US court to issue an injunction banning OpenAI and two former Apple employees from using alleged stolen trade secrets. Apple accuses the ex-employees of downloading thousands of confidential files—including proprietary AI research—before joining OpenAI, alleging that OpenAI knowingly used this proprietary data to bolster its own AI models and gain an unfair competitive advantage.
