Chat for Cash: EPFO Brings PF Balances and Passbooks to WhatsApp

India’s Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched an official WhatsApp-based service allowing subscribers to instantly check their PF balance, download passbooks, and view their last five transactions. Unveiled on EPFO's 74th Foundation Day, the initiative aims to eliminate physical office visits for routine queries while offering automated settlements for small inoperative accounts.
