U-Turn on Privacy: Apple Scraps Hide My Email Domain Switch After Backlash

Following criticism from developers and users over potential service disruptions, Apple has canceled plans to move Hide My Email from icloud.com to private.icloud.com. Moving the shared domain risked causing websites to block generated aliases outright. Existing Hide My Email addresses will remain unchanged, while Sign in with Apple will proceed with migrating to the new domain.
