Hyundai workers in South Korea have launched a partial strike, causing the auto industry's first major shutdown over automation. The 40,000-member union is striking for four hours daily to demand strict job safeguards and veto power before Boston Dynamics' Atlas humanoid robot is deployed. The dispute is projected to stall production by 5,000 vehicles, costing the automaker over $134 million.
