DDoS Attacks Target 46 Japanese Companies and Organizations

Between December 27 and January 9, 46 Japanese companies and organizations, including Japan Airlines, MUFG Bank, and NTT Docomo, experienced distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, leading to system glitches and website disruptions. Trend Micro identified botnets likely responsible for these attacks, suggesting they may have been preliminary surveillance for potential future cyberattacks.
