“Villager,” an AI-powered penetration testing tool from China’s Cyberspike, combines Kali Linux utilities with DeepSeek AI to automate red-team workflows. Released in July via PyPI, it’s amassed over 10,000 downloads in two months. Key features include use of AI to generate exploits, dynamic choice of tools based on system detection, and transient, isolated environments that erase logs and randomly change ports.
