NY Governor Urged to Sign Landmark AI Safety Law

New York parents, some having lost children to social media harms, are pressuring Governor Kathy Hochul to sign the Responsible AI Safety and Education (RAISE) Act. The bill requires the largest AI companies to test their frontier models for catastrophic risks, publish safety protocols, and report dangerous failures to the Attorney General before public release.
