Which was the 1st cyber crime conviction in India?

Cyber Law Expert and senior SC lawyer Dr Pavan Duggal in our podcast 'In Conversation' revealed that the first cyber crime conviction happened in India in 2003. "A man from a call centre in Noida exploited an American girl's credit card number to buy a TV and cordless phone," he added. Dr Duggal said the court let him off on probation because he was a first-time offender.
