Australia's eSafety Commissioner has expanded its under-16 social media ban to include platforms like WhatsApp, Twitch, Reddit, Roblox, Pinterest, Kick, and Steam. These platforms must now self-assess their eligibility for the ban, with potential fines up to AU$49.5 million for non-compliance. While Roblox argues it isn't a social media platform, the regulator is scrutinizing its features to determine its inclusion.
