Bo Hines Resigns as White House Crypto Adviser After Driving Key Digital Asset Reforms

Bo Hines, head of President Trump’s Council of Advisers on Digital Assets, has resigned to return to the private sector. He played a central role in crafting U.S. crypto policy—leading the working group that pushed for digital-asset-specific regulation and championing the GENIUS Act to set stablecoin rules. In a statement, Hines called his tenure “the honor of a lifetime,” thanking colleagues including AI & Crypto Czar David Sacks.
