Elon Musk told JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon that Earth's infrastructure and energy bottlenecks will eventually cap AI growth at 1 terawatt annually. His radical workaround? Moving AI data centers to the Moon. Musk argued that the Moon’s low gravity and lack of atmosphere allow for 1,000 terawatts of computing power, utilizing electromagnetic railguns instead of rockets to shoot AI hardware directly into deep space.
