Game Pass Not Required: Xbox Tests Ad-Supported Free Streaming

Microsoft is testing a free, ad-supported tier for Xbox Cloud Gaming with Xbox Insiders. By watching a two-minute block of ads before launching, players can stream select owned or free-to-play titles for a one-hour session without a Game Pass subscription. Gameplay remains uninterrupted, though users can watch another ad block to extend play.
