Google Tests Gemini Agent That Can Call Businesses and Handle Tasks for Users

Google is testing “Call for Me,” a Gemini feature that can call businesses on a user’s behalf. Initially available to U.S. Pixel 11 owners with a Gemini subscription, it can navigate phone menus, wait on hold, ask about product availability, reschedule appointments, and make restaurant reservations. Users can follow the call through a live transcript and take control at any time.
