India Makes STQC Certification Mandatory for CCTV Cameras to Boost Cybersecurity
India’s government has mandated that all CCTV cameras—whether imported, manufactured or sold—must obtain STQC (Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification) under revised Electronics & IT Goods Order to get the BIS mark. Hardware and software will be evaluated, including ports, firmware, and cloud-storage risks.
