India's First Private Rocket To Be Launched Soon By Spaceflight Startup Skyroot

<p>Skyroot Aerospace, a Hyderabad-based commercial space firm, plans to launch India's first private rocket from the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Sriharikota launchpad between November 12 and 16. Since the union government opened up the space sector for private industry engagement in June 2020, the rocket — called Vikram-S — will be the nation's first space launch vehicle constructed and controlled exclusively by a commercial enterprise.</p>
