Mind Control Milestone: China Beats Neuralink to Commercial Market

China has approved the world’s first commercial brain-computer interface (BCI) chip, beating Elon Musk’s Neuralink to the market. Developed by Tsinghua University and Neuracle Technology, the coin-sized "NEO" chip is heading into mass production for state healthcare to treat paralysis. Unlike Neuralink's highly invasive design which penetrates brain tissue, NEO sits safely between the skull and outer brain membrane, a less invasive approach that helped secure rapid regulatory clearance.
