NCLT Rejects Byju's Plea to Stop Aakash Rights Issue
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in Bengaluru dismissed a plea by Byju's parent company, Think and Learn, to block an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Aakash Educational Services for a rights issue. Think and Learn argued the rights issue would dilute its stake from 25.75% to about 5% since the company, which is undergoing insolvency, cannot participate.
