No More Password Sharing: Spotify Tightens Household Verification Rules

Spotify is rolling out stricter verification checks for its Premium Family Plan to ensure members live at the same address. Members receive a prompt to verify their location by scanning a dynamic QR code directly from the plan manager's device within seven days. Failing or skipping the check downgrades the member to the free tier and bans them from joining any Duo or Family plan for 12 months.
