OpenAI Plans AI Speaker, Smart Glasses, and More by 2026–27
OpenAI is venturing into hardware with plans to launch AI-powered devices by late 2026 or early 2027. Collaborating with designer Jony Ive, the company is developing screen-free smart speakers, smart glasses, a digital voice recorder, and a wearable pin. Manufacturing partners include Apple suppliers Luxshare and Goertek.
