Oracle Likely to Play Key Role in Deal to Keep TikTok Operating in U.S.
Oracle is reportedly part of a consortium of companies helping structure a deal that lets TikTok continue its U.S. operations—if a framework agreement between Washington and Beijing is finalized. The arrangement aims to transfer control of TikTok to U.S. ownership to address national security concerns. Talks have escalated ahead of a September 17 deadline, which may be extended by 90 days.
