Global online forum Reddit has filed a High Court challenge against Australia's new law banning children under 16 from major social media platforms. The suit claims the "world-first" law is unconstitutional, arguing it infringes on the implied freedom of political communication and forces intrusive verification processes on all users. Reddit, while complying with the law, seeks to have it ruled invalid.
