Stellantis Drops Electrified Jeep Gladiator as EV Strategy Shifts
Stellantis has cancelled plans to release an electrified or plug-in hybrid version of the Jeep Gladiator that had been announced in 2024. The change reflects evolving customer preferences away from electrified variants. Instead, Stellantis will refocus on adding new factory content, customization, powertrain options, and features for the Gladiator’s 2026 model while retaining its rugged design. The automaker also dropped plans for a full-size Ram EV pickup.
