Taiwan Eyes Doubling Tech Exports to India Amid U.S. Demand Surge

Taiwan plans to double its chip and electronics exports to India within the next five to seven years, driven by a surge in smartphone shipments. India's smartphone exports to the U.S. rose nearly 40% to $8.43 billion in the first five months of the fiscal year, largely due to increased demand for Apple iPhones. Taiwan's trade chief, James C. F. Huang, highlighted that electronic industries are propelling trade growth between the two nations.
