US Approves Nvidia H200 AI Chip Exports to China with 25% Fee
The Department of Commerce is finalizing the approval for Nvidia to export its H200 AI processors to approved Chinese customers. President Trump announced the move, which includes a 25% fee paid to the U.S., as a compromise to balance national security with economic benefits. The policy excludes Nvidia's most advanced chips, Blackwell and Rubin, and aims to support American manufacturing and jobs.
