US Exempts Students from $100K H-1B Fee
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has provided a major reprieve to IT companies and startups by exempting applicants already in the US from the new $100,000 H-1B visa fee if they are changing their visa status, such as from a student visa (OPT). This clarification offers relief to thousands of Indian candidates and companies.
