Google begins development of AR headset

<p>Google has recently begun work on an AR headset codenamed Project Iris, which it hopes to release in 2024. Google's headset, like those from Meta and Apple, uses outward-facing cameras to blend computer graphics with a video feed of the real world. It helps in creating a more immersive mixed reality experience than current AR glasses from Snap and Magic Leap. Early prototypes are being developed at a San Francisco Bay facility.</p>
