60% of Indians Unfamiliar with AI, Yet Majority Eager to Embrace It

Google-Kantar study reveals that 60% of Indians are unfamiliar with artificial intelligence (AI), and only 31% have experimented with generative AI tools. Despite this, 75% of respondents express a desire to use AI as a daily growth collaborator, aiming to boost productivity, creativity, and communication. Early adopters of Google's Gemini AI report significant benefits, including increased confidence (92%), enhanced productivity (93%), and heightened creativity (85%).
