OpenAI has introduced "Scheduled Tasks," transforming ChatGPT into a proactive automation agent. Users can now schedule one-off or recurring prompts—such as reports, reminders, or email summaries—and connect them to productivity tools. Managed via a new dedicated settings tab, active task limits scale from 3 to 15 depending on the user's subscription tier.
