BAMUL Slams Flipkart Over Predatory Rs 1 Milk Deal

The Bangalore Cooperative Milk Union (BAMUL) has filed a formal complaint with the Competition Commission of India against Flipkart's "Rs 1 milk" promotion. President D.K. Suresh termed the offer a marketing gimmick that threatens the livelihoods of millions of dairy farmers and undermines the cooperative movement. While Flipkart defends the deal as a limited seller-led promotion, BAMUL has urged Prime Minister Modi to intervene against such investor-funded predatory pricing.
