Japan’s NTT Data Group plans to step up investments in Indonesia under a new two-to-three-year expansion strategy, which includes acquiring land and opening a 12-megawatt annex in Jakarta. Building on $500 million invested since 2015, the move addresses skyrocketing AI and cloud demand while actively engaging local communities to alleviate regional concerns over power, water, and resource usage.
