Larry Ellison Becomes World’s Richest Person After $101 Billion Wealth Surge
Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle, overtook Elon Musk as the world’s richest person after his net worth surged by about $101 billion in a single day to $393 billion, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index. The dramatic gain came after Oracle reported a blowout quarter, signed several multibillion‐dollar cloud and AI infrastructure contracts, and projected robust future cloud revenue.
