PhonePe Narrows Loss in FY25 as Revenue Jumps 40% to ₹7,115 Crore

Walmart-backed PhonePe reduced its net loss by 13.4% in FY25, reaching ₹1,727.4 crore, compared to ₹1,996.1 crore in FY24. Operating revenue surged 40.4% to ₹7,115 crore, driven primarily by its payments division, which contributed ₹6,299.7 crore. Expenses rose 21.1% to ₹9,394 crore, with payment processing charges increasing 44.7%. The company now serves over 650 million users and processes more than 360 million transactions daily.
