Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch a ₹1 lakh crore Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) scheme on November 3. The fund is designed to build a robust, private sector-driven R&D ecosystem across India, offering long-term, low-interest loans or equity contributions for projects in sunrise sectors like Artificial Intelligence and deeptech.
