Amazon Promises Action After Fatal Fire at Indian Logistics Center

Amazon announced it will take "appropriate action" against a third-party delivery partner in India following a fatal warehouse fire. The June 5 blaze at an M&M Logistics Solutions building in Uttarakhand killed two workers. A police document revealed the facility lacked valid fire safety clearance, alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency exits. Amazon has also launched an independent internal probe into the incident.
