Surpassing the US: India Becomes ChatGPT’s Largest Global Market

India has officially overtaken the United States to become ChatGPT’s largest market worldwide by weekly active users. According to OpenAI India Managing Director Prabhjeet Singh, the country's active user base has doubled since January, driven by massive adoption among students, developers, and professionals, alongside expanding mobile-first and vernacular language initiatives.
