App vs. State: Telegram Sues India Over NEET Cheating Ban

Telegram has challenged the Indian government's week-long temporary ban in the Delhi High Court. The government blocked the app until June 22 to halt cheating rackets selling fake question papers ahead of the June 21 NEET-UG medical re-exam. While authorities labeled the block a "last resort" to protect students, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov criticized the move, arguing it unfairly punishes 150 million ordinary Indian users.
