India Proposes Global Regulatory Forum to Help Tech Startups Expand Abroad

Speaking at the Global Fintech Fest, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman called for a dedicated platform to help Indian tech firms engage foreign governments and regulators before rules harden. Stating that young startups cannot navigate complex international compliance alone, she emphasized that a unified forum would help Indian companies expand smoothly, license technologies abroad, shape interoperable global standards, and resolve regulatory hurdles proactively.
