The Delhi High Court has dismissed Telegram’s appeal against a temporary nationwide block, ruling the government has full legal authority to suspend entire platforms under the IT Act. The week-long ban, lasting until June 22, was implemented to prevent cheating networks from fabricating or leaking medical entrance (NEET-UG) exam papers. The court deemed the emergency measure proportionate to protect examination integrity.
