US H1B Fee Hike to Impact Startups, Minimal Effect on India's IT Sector
US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) President Mukesh Aghi stated that the recent H1B visa fee increase will primarily affect U.S. startups and innovation, with minimal impact on India's IT services exports. He suggested that the move could benefit India by shifting low-end jobs offshore & increasing compensation for Indian workers in the U.S. Aghi also addressed U.S. President Trump's remarks at the UNGA, disagreeing with his views on India's involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
