Hours after the European Union celebrated trade deal tariffs, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened the bloc with heavy new tariffs. Outraged by the EU imposing a $1 billion antitrust fine on Google under its Digital Markets Act, Trump announced an immediate Section 301 investigation, accusing Europe of using American companies as a "piggybank."
