Twitter appoints new JAPAC region VP, Hari moves to global strategy, ops role

<p>Twitter appointed Yu Sasamoto as VP for Japan, South Korea, and Asia Pacific region. Yu, from May 1, will take charge of Twitter&#39;s advertising business in Australia, Greater China, Japan, India, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and South Korea. He will succeed Maya Hari, who is promoted as Twitter&#39;s VP of Global Strategy and Operations. Earlier, in the week the micro-blogging site appointed Apurva Dalal as Director of Engineering in India</p>
