Twitter appoints new JAPAC region VP, Hari moves to global strategy, ops role

<p>Twitter appointed Yu Sasamoto as VP for Japan, South Korea, and Asia Pacific region. Yu, from May 1, will take charge of Twitter's advertising business in Australia, Greater China, Japan, India, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and South Korea. He will succeed Maya Hari, who is promoted as Twitter's VP of Global Strategy and Operations. Earlier, in the week the micro-blogging site appointed Apurva Dalal as Director of Engineering in India</p>
