Accel Reportedly Leads $1B Funding Push for Thinking Machines

Thinking Machines, the AI startup founded by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, is reportedly in talks to raise at least $1 billion at a $40 billion valuation. Existing investor Accel may lead the round, while Nvidia has also discussed participating. The proposed valuation would more than triple the company’s previous $12 billion valuation, despite its annualized revenue reportedly exceeding $100 million.
