Amazon announces $1B industrial innovation fund

<p>Amazon has launched a new $1B fund called the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund which will be used to find, support, and acquire companies whose tech will prove useful to Amazon’s operations. The fund is focused on logistics, supply chain, and customer fulfillment. The first batch of funding will be for safety-focused wearable technology, Amazon has decided to back Agility Robotics, BionixHIVE, Mantis Robotics, Modjoul, and Vimaan. <br />
