Meta and MeitY team up to support XR technology-based startups in India

<p>An accelerator program has been launched by the MeitY startup cluster and Meta to aid the expansion of XR technology-based firms across India. As part of the collaboration, 40 early-stage firms working in the field of XR technologies would receive grants totaling Rs 20 lakh each from Meta and the startup hub of the IT ministry. The program will also support early-stage innovators working on XR technology in fields like healthcare, agritech, gaming, entertainment, etc.</p>
